The Maybach Weiss non-alcoholic from the pen of Peter Mertes from Rheinhessen presents a brilliant, golden yellow color in the swirled glass. The nose shows this Peter Mertes white wine all sorts of vineyard peach, peaches, nectarines, apricots and mirabelles.
The light-bodied Peter Mertes Maybach Weiss Alkoholfrei reveals to us an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is of course due to its residual sweet profile. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Maybach Weiss alcohol-free flatters with a velvety mouthfeel, without lacking freshness. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of the fermentation, the Maybach Weiss Alkoholfrei is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.... After the wine is finished, the Maybach Weiss non-alcoholic is carefully dealcoholized.
