Light-footed and multifaceted, this crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc 1.5 l Magnum presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden, more precisely from Bruchsal, finally convinces with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess.

Vinification of the Pinot Blanc 1.5 l Magnum from Klumpp

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Blanc. Only immaculate grapes were harvested for this exceptionally elegant varietal wine from Klumpp. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loess. Moreover, the grapes of this top wine from Klumpp do not grow in the flat land, but dig their root system into the subsoil in steep slopes. The steep slope cultivation ensures that even in less sunny regions with shorter growing seasons, the vines receive a maximum of sun. The development of the grapes for this Pinot Blanc wine is influenced to an undeniable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Baden, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. The grapes for this white wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand at the time of optimal ripeness. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Pinot Blanc 1.5 l Magnum can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for the Pinot Blanc 1,5 l Magnum from Klumpp
