More information

With the Maria Schwan Weißburgunder Bio comes a first-class organic white wine in the swirled glass. In this it presents a wonderfully brilliant, light yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from Maria Schwan reveals aromas of nectarines, apricots, peaches, mirabelles and vineyard peach, complemented by garrigue, green peppers and Mediterranean herbs. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 6.5 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc Bio is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of vineyard peach and apricot.

Vinification of the Pinot Blanc Bio from Maria Schwan

The basis for the elegant Pinot Blanc Bio from Rheinhessen are grapes from the grape variety Pinot Blanc. After harvesting, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Blanc Bio can further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. After the wine is finished, the Weißburgunder Bio is carefully harmonized.

Food recommendation for the Weißburgunder Bio from Maria Schwan

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to coconut-lime fish curry, wok vegetables with fish or asparagus salad with quinoa.
