More information
Pfannebecker's light-footed Pinot Blanc shimmers into the glass with a brilliant light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine presents wonderfully expressive aromas of vineyard peach, mirabelle plum, pear and nectarine, rounded off by cinnamon, dark chocolate and forest floor.
On the palate, Pfannebecker's Pinot Blanc starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied white wine presents itself wonderfully dense. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of quince and pear show.
Vinification of the Pfannebecker Pinot Blanc
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Blanc. For this wonderfully elegant varietal wine from Pfannebecker, only first-class grapes were harvested. After the grapes have been harvested, they are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Pinot Blanc from Pfannebecker
This white wine from Germany is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to fruity endive salad, omelet with salmon and fennel or vegetable salad with beetroot.
