With the Balthasar Ress Pinot Blanc comes a first-class white wine in the swirled glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully brilliant golden yellow color. This single-varietal German wine shows wonderfully expressive notes of grapefruit, peaches, pomelo and grapefruits in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
The Balthasar Ress Pinot Blanc presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the upper price range. Light-footed and complex, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Rheingau finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of mirabelle and lemon.
Vinification of the Pinot Blanc from Balthasar Ress
The elegant Pinot Blanc from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles. After the wine is finished, the Pinot Blanc is carefully harmonized.

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to coconut-lime fish curry, vegetable salad with beetroot or roasted trout with ginger pear.
