More information
The elegant Pinot Blanc from Ziereisen glides into the glass with a bright light yellow color. The first nose of the Pinot Blanc reveals notes of mirabelle plums, nectarines and peaches. The fruity part of the bouquet is joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Ziereisen Pinot Blanc presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine enthusiast. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of nectarine and vineyard peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Pinot Blanc from Ziereisen
This balanced white wine from Germany is vinified from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. The berries for this white wine from Germany, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Pinot Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Food recommendation for the Pinot Blanc from Ziereisen
