This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. Here it is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this crisp and fleshy white wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily, more precisely from Sicilia DOC, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the volcanic rock dominated soils.

Vinification of Zibibbo Grotta Dell'Oro by Hibiscus

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Muscat d'Alexandrie. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Hibiscus. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Zibibbo Grotta Dell'Oro can harmonize further for 4 months on the fine lees.

This Italian white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, stir-fried vegetables with fish, or pumpkin casserole.
