More information
The elegant Zibibbo Passito Zhabib from Hibiscus glides into the glass with bright golden yellow. This single varietal Italian wine flatters in the glass wonderfully fragrant and complex notes of figs. In addition, hints of almond and honey.
The elegant Hibiscus Zibibbo Passito Zhabib reveals to us on the palate an incredibly fruity flavor, which is due in no small part to its residual sweetness flavor profile. Balanced and multi-faceted, this silky, dense, creamy and velvety dessert wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this dessert wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily, more precisely from Sicilia DOC, finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the volcanic rock dominated soils.
Vinification of Zibibbo Passito Zhabib by Hibiscus
The basis for the balanced Zibibbo Passito Zhabib from Sicily are grapes from the grape variety Muscat d'Alexandrie. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Zibibbo Passito Zhabib can harmonize further for 4 months on the fine lees.
Recommendation for Hibiscus Zibibbo Passito Zhabib
This Italian is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to peach-passion fruit dessert, almond milk jelly with lychees or baked apples with yogurt sauce.
