Vinification of the Bründlmayer Zweigelt
The elegant Zweigelt from Austria is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Zweigelt grape variety. The grapes for this red wine from Austria are harvested exclusively by hand when perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Zweigelt is aged for several months in Austrian oak barrels.
