More information about La Mule Blanche Crozes Hermitage - Paul Jaboulet Aîné
Paul Jaboulet Aîné's La Mule Blanche from the Crozes Hermitage wine region of France in the Rhône Valley is a substantial, complex and expressive white wine cuvée vinified from the Marsanne and Roussanne grape varieties.
In the glass, this wine shimmers a brilliant straw yellow with golden highlights. The complex bouquet reveals intense aromas of juicy stone fruits (especially apricot and peach) and sun-ripened lemons - subtly underpinned by caramelized notes and some oak. On the palate, this French white wine has a good minerality that brings a certain freshness. The full body settles into the elegant array of flavors that reverberate into the long finish.
Vinification of Paul Jaboulet La Mule Blanche
Very carefully, the Marsanne and Roussanne grapes are harvested in the French Crozes Hermitage and immediately brought to the cellar of Paul Jaboulet Aîné. There, the grapes are first fermented in stainless steel tanks and finally placed in oak barrels to age for 9 months.
Food recommendation for the Blanche Paul Jaboulet Aîné La Mule
This dry white wine from France is a very good companion to fried fish in a fine lemon dill sauce, glazed chicken breast with ribbon noodles in a creamy sauce or even soft cheeses.
