More information about Good Hope Rosé - Danie de Wet

The light-footed Good Hope Rosé Danie de Wet glides into the glass with brilliant raspberry pink. The Danie de Wet Good Hope Rosé delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. For a wine in the entry level range absolutely no matter of course, so this South African enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. The finale of this rosé wine from the Breede River Valley wine-growing region finally convinces with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and limestone.

Vinification of the Good Hope Rosé from Danie de Wet

This elegant rosé wine from South Africa is vinified from Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Breede River Valley. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. The grapes for this rosé wine from South Africa, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand . After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Good Hope Rosé can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....

Food recommendation for the Danie de Wet Good Hope Rosé

This South African is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spinach gratin with almonds, cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables or baked sweet potatoes with feta cheese.
