The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced M.I. Tinto Douro cuvée from Quinta Maria Izabel are Tinto Cão, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grapes. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the elegant M.I. Tinto Douro is aged for several months in oak barrels.
