This powerful red wine from Chile is made from the Merlot grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Santa Digna Merlot Gran Reserva is aged for another 6 months in quarter-piece barrels and 600-liter half-piece barrels of American oak.
