More information about Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois AOC - Château Arnauld

With the Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois comes a first-class red wine in the swirled glass. In this, it shows a wonderfully bright, crimson color. Held at a slight angle, the red wine glass reveals a charming garnet red hue at the rims. After the first swirl, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from France offers wonderfully expressive aromas of black currant, blackberry, mulberry and blueberry, rounded out by cocoa bean, black tea and gingerbread spice contributed by barrel aging.

The Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine drinker. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. With its lively fruit acidity, the Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this very storable red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of blueberry and mulberry show through. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and gravel are added.

Vinification of the Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The balanced Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois from France is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand and gravel. The grapes for this red wine from France, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and gently broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois is aged for another 18 months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois from Château Arnauld

Experience this red wine from France best tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to Thai cucumber salad, spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.
