Vinification of the Cordillera Sauvignon Blanc from Miguel Torres Chile

The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. The grapes for this white wine from Chile, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
