The nose of this Miguel Torres Chile white wine reveals all sorts of lemongrass, lemons, pink grapefruit, kumquats and pomelo. As if that wasn't already impressive, Mediterranean herbs, dark chocolate and cocoa bean join the mix due to the aging in stainless steel.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Chilean naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp and melting. On the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of Coquimbo finally thrills with considerable length. There are again hints of lime and pink grapefruit. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone and clay dominated soils are added.

Vinification of the Cordillera Sauvignon Blanc from Miguel Torres Chile

The basis for the balanced Cordillera Sauvignon Blanc from Coquimbo are grapes from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Coquimbo. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. The grapes for this white wine from Chile, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
