More information about Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe AOC - Chateau Le Boscq

The Chateau Le Boscq Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe is a first-class red wine in a glass. It has a wonderfully bright, ruby red color. The first nose of the Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe reveals nuances of sour cherries and blackberries. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing and even more fruity, balsamic nuances.

This French wine impresses with its straightforward, dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so, despite its dryness, this French wine naturally delights with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. The texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully dense on the palate. The finish of this excellently ageable red wine from the Bordeaux wine-growing region, Saint-Estèphe to be precise, ultimately delights with a remarkable aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the gravel and sand-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Chateau Le Boscq Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe

This balanced red wine from France is made from the Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grape varieties. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sand and gravel soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.

Dining recommendations for Chateau Le Boscq Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe

This red wine from France is best enjoyed at 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to pasta with sausage dumplings, vegetable stew with pesto or spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce.
