In the glass, the Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru of Louis Jadot shows a bright light red color. Vinification of the Louis Jadot Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru
The balanced Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru from France is a single varietal wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Burgundy. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of punishing and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for 18 months.
