More information about Gamma Tinto DO - Piedemonte

The Gamma Tinto of Piedemonte appears in the glass in an intense cherry red with ruby glints. The bouquet of this cuvée is intense and fruity, especially stand out the aromas of ripe black berries combined with nuances of vanilla and toffee.

This Spanish red wine is fleshy and fruity on the palate, with spicy nuances and soft tannins that round out this wine.

Vinification for the Gamma Tinto from Piedemonte

This cuvée is made from Merlot, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

The berries of the different grape varieties are fermented and macerated separately in stainless steel vats. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature between 26 and 28 ° Celsius. Then begins the maceration period, which lasts about 12 days, depending on the grape variety and the characteristics of the berries.

After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine remains in oak barrels for 3 months. After the aging period in barrels, the blending of the different wines is carried out, achieving a perfect tapping of the three varieties.
