Vinification of the Miguel Torres Vina Esmeralda

The basis for the elegant Vina Esmeralda from Catalonia are grapes from the grape varieties Gewürztraminer and Muscat d'Alexandrie. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

This Spanish wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to stir-fried vegetables with fish, vegetable salad with beetroot or spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto.
