The Substance Klein BX from Wines of Substance is a fascinating red wine cuvée from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Merlot (25%). 

In a beautiful very deep dark red with black highlights, this wine shines in the glass. The rich bouquet reveals expressive notes of dark fruits - especially blackberry, black currant and plum - and freshly ground coffee. The flavors of the nose are also reflected on the palate. The structure is unforgettably dense and complex with a perfect tannic framework. The finish awaits with splendid length. 

Vinification for the Wines of Substance Klein BX by Wines of Substance

The grapes for this red wine come from the "Klein" vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. The soils are marked by the volcanic origin - rocky with loess over basalt. 

Carefully and meticulously, the grapes for this wine are harvested and selected in the winery. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The 22-month aging in barriques provides for the intense aromas, the powerful, almost black color and the wonderful complexity.
