Vin Doux Moscato is a specialty of the Greek island of Samos. 98% of the island's vineyards are planted with the grape variety for this wine. To the nose, this EOS Samos dessert wine reveals all sorts of plums, star fruit, pineapple, papayas and black cherries.
The Samos Vin Doux Moscato reveals an incredibly fruity flavor to us on the tongue, due in no small part to its residual sweetness flavor profile. Pressurized and complex, this dense dessert wine presents itself on the palate.
Vinification of the EOS Samos Samos Vin Doux Moscato
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is the Yellow Muscat. For this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from EOS Samos, only the best grapes were harvested. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in controlled temperatures.
