More information about Bacchus trocken - Kloster Pforta
The Bacchus from the wine-growing region Saale Unstrut shows in the glass in brilliantly shimmering light yellow hue. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of pear, cherry blossom, gallia melon and guava, rounded off by juniper, lovage and green bell pepper.
This white wine from Kloster Pforta is perfect for those who like as little residual sugar in their wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never appears meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Bacchus is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region Saale Unstrut finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of jasmine and mango.
Vinification of the Bacchus from Kloster Pforta
Basis for the elegant Bacchus from Saale Unstrut are grapes from the grape variety Bacchus. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures.
