More information about PAZ Malbec - Finca Las Moras
With the Finca Las Moras PAZ Malbec comes a first-class red wine in the swirled glass. In this it shows a wonderfully dense, purple color. The nose presents this Finca Las Moras red wine all sorts of morello cherries, plums, black cherries and plums. As if that wasn't already impressive, the aging in small wooden barrels adds cinnamon, dark chocolate and vanilla.
On the palate, the PAZ Malbec of Finca Las Moras starts pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Full-bodied and complex, this velvety red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the PAZ Malbec flatters with a pleasing palate feeling, without at the same time lacking in juicy liveliness. In the finish, this well storable red wine from the San Juan wine region finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of plum and damson. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sandstone are added.
Vinification of the Finca Las Moras PAZ Malbec
This powerful red wine from Argentina is vinified from the Malbec grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in San Juan. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sandstone. The grapes for this red wine from Argentina are harvested exclusively by hand at the time of optimal ripeness. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the PAZ Malbec is aged for another 15 months in French oak barrels.
