The Buenos Hermanos Bonarda Valiente of Gimenez Riili from Valle de Uco reveals a dense ruby color in the swirled glass. The first nose of Buenos Hermanos Bonarda Valiente reveals notes of blackcurrant, raspberry and plum. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as tobacco and cinnamon.

On the palate, Gimenez Riili's Buenos Hermanos Bonarda Valiente opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. There is dry and really dry. This red wine belongs to the latter, as it was bottled with only 1.9 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Buenos Hermanos Bonarda Valiente reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this good storable red wine from the wine-growing region of the Valle de Uco finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of plum and sour cherry show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils are added.

Vinification of the Buenos Hermanos Bonarda Valiente by Gimenez Riili

The basis for the powerful Buenos Hermanos Bonarda Valiente from Argentina are grapes from the Bonarda grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Valle de Uco. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. The grapes for this red wine from Argentina, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for 8 months in French oak barriques.
