The Petra Toscana from Petra in Tuscany shows a dense, purple-red color in the glass. this Italian red also shows a transition to garnet red. The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully powerful Petra Toscana cuvée from Petra are Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by ageing for several months in oak barriques.
