More information about Rosé - Kloster Eberbach
The rosé from the pen of Kloster Eberbach from the Rheingau presents a brilliant, delicate rosé color in the swirled glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World rosé wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of quince, nashi pear, apple and pear, rounded off by garrigue, green bell pepper and juniper.
On the palate, the Rosé from Kloster Eberbach opens delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied rosé wine is wonderfully crisp. The final of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Rheingau finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by silicate rock and loess soil.
Vinification of the Rosé from Kloster Eberbach
This rosé wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Noir. Only the best grape material was brought in for this exceptionally elegant varietal wine from Kloster Eberbach. In the Rheingau, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of slate, silicate rock and loess soil. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
