More information about Sauvignon Touraine AOC - Guy Saget
In the glass, the Sauvignon Touraine of Guy Saget reveals a brilliant shimmering pale yellow color. To the nose, this Guy Saget white wine reveals all sorts of jasmine, cherry blossom, lime, white currant and acacia.
The Guy Saget Sauvignon Touraine presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and dense texture. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of cherry blossom and white currant.
Vinification of the Sauvignon Touraine from Guy Saget
The basis for the elegant Sauvignon Touraine from the Val de Loire are grapes from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
