More information about Bundschuh Grauburgunder trocken - Emil Bauer
With the Emil Bauer Bundschuh Pinot Gris comes a first-class white wine in the swirled glass. Here it offers a wonderfully bright, copper-gold color. In the glass, this white wine from Emil Bauer reveals aromas of star fruit, pomelo, kumquats, lemons and guava, complemented by lovage, roasted almond and whole-nut chocolate. The Bundschuh Pinot Gris from Emil Bauer is the right choice for those who like as little residual sweetness in their wine as possible. However, it never appears meager or brittle, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by clay and loess.
Vinification of the Bundschuh Pinot Gris from Emil Bauer
The balanced Bundschuh Pinot Gris from Germany is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Pinot Gris grape variety. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, limestone and loess. After manual harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Emil Bauer Bundschuh Pinot Gris
Drink this white wine from Germany ideally very well chilled at 5 - 7°C as an accompanying wine to wok vegetables with fish, pasta with sausage dumplings or vegetable stew with pesto.
