Vinification of Grecanico Bio from Baroni di Pianogrillo

The balanced Grecanico Bio from Italy is a single-vineyard wine, organically vinified from the Grecanico grape variety. In Sicily, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. The grapes for this white wine from Italy, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Grecanico Bio can harmonize further for 6 months on the fine lees.
