More information about Kirchberg Weissburgunder trocken - Klumpp
The barrel-aged Kirchberg Weissburgunder from the Baden winegrowing region offers a bright light yellow color in the glass. The first nose of the Kirchberg Weissburgunder flatters with peaches, vineyard peach and apricots. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Klumpp Kirchberg Weissburgunder impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with only 2.5 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. Due to its vital fruit acid, the Kirchberg Weissburgunder is impressively fresh and lively on the palate.
Vinification of the Kirchberg Weissburgunder from Klumpp
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Blanc. Only the best grapes were used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Klumpp. The ripening of the grapes for this Pinot Blanc wine is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Baden, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Kirchberg Weissburgunder is aged for several months in French oak barriques.
Food recommendation for the Kirchberg Weissburgunder from Klumpp
