More information about Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling trocken - Karl Pfaffmann
The Karl Pfaffmann Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling is a first-class white wine. In this it offers a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of orange, pear, lime and grapefruit, rounded off by forest floor and sun-warmed rock.
This German delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with just 7.5 grams of residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range, it naturally enraptures with the finest balance for all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need residual sugar.
On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate, more precisely from Nußdorf, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by sand and limestone.
Vinification of the Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling from Karl Pfaffmann
This balanced white wine from Germany is vinified from the Riesling grape variety. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for it grow on soils of sand, limestone and loess. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling is left to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
