The finish of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen, which is capable of aging, finally delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by slate and sand.

Vinification of the Weingut Prinz Salm Riesling QbA

The basis for the elegant Riesling QbA from Rheinhessen are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rheinhessen. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand and slate. The berries for this white wine from Germany, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After harvesting, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Riesling QbA from Weingut Prinz Salm

This white wine from Germany is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to asparagus salad with quinoa, coconut-lime fish curry or vegetable salad with beetroot.
