More information about Sauvignon Blanc Castel Ringberg DOC - Elena Walch

In the glass, the Sauvignon Blanc Castel Ringberg from Elena Walch has a bright light yellow color. After the first swirl, you can perceive a first-class balance in this white wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Elena Walch presents aromas of Gallia melon, gooseberries, papayas, guavas and honeysuckle, complemented by garrigue, green peppers and lovage. This Italian wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 3.9 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine of this renown, this Italian wine naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require sugar. The Sauvignon Blanc Castel Ringberg is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its vital fruit acidity. This white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, which is easy to age, has an impressive length on the finish. There are again hints of honeysuckle and white currant. In the finish, mineral notes from the clay and limestone-dominated soils are added.

Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Castel Ringberg by Elena Walch

This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils in Trentino-Alto Adige. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Sauvignon Blanc Castel Ringberg can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Recommendation for Elena Walch Sauvignon Blanc Castel Ringberg

This white wine from Italy is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It goes perfectly with pasta with sausage dumplings, chickpea curry or leek tortilla.
