The Château Sémonlon Grand Vin de Bordeaux AOC Haut-Médoc from Jean-Baptiste Audy appears in a Bordeaux red. The nose is dominated by notes of cherries, black currants, blueberries and plums.
Complexity and finesse characterize the palate, which is carried by a medium body. Velvety soft tannins caress the tongue.
We recommend Château Sémonlon Haut-Médoc with meat dishes of lamb and beef (entrecote), as well as medium-bodied hard cheeses such as Gruyère or Comté.
