The grape material from the Spanish growing region D.O.. Dominio de Valdepusa comes from average 22 year old vines and grow on calcareous and clayey soils.

The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in the harvest period from September to October. At the Marques de Grinon winery, the grapes are gently pressed and then the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aging in French Allier oak for a total of 12-15 months provides the spicy character.
