The Pinot Gris from the series "Eins zu Eins" of the winery A. Diehl presents itself with a beautiful white-golden color in the glass. This single-varietal Palatinate white wine convinces with a fruity, tangy and mineral bouquet full of ripe pears and apples, complemented by delicate nutty notes and mineral-herbal undertones.

On the palate, the Eins zu Eins Pinot Gris starts fresh, fruity and wonderfully melting. Fruit acidity and residual sweetness are excellently balanced and give this Palatinate interpretation of Pinot Grigio really a lot of drinkability. In the finale, A. Diehl's Pinot Grigio comes up with a lot of pressure, a lot of melting and a mineral-fresh finish.

Vinification of the A. Diehl Pinot Grigio One to One

As usual in the Eins zu Eins wine series, this Pinot Gris from Andreas Diehl is vinified absolutely single-varietal. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, so that the wine reflects its varietal character as unaltered as possible in the glass. Since the Diehlt family vinifies their Pinot Gris as a Kabinett-Prädikatswein, any "artifice" such as sugaring the musts or the like are prohibited by law. Thus, A. Diehl voluntarily commits himself to even higher quality.
