The barrel-aged Nadir Syrah Sicilia from the wine-growing region of Sicily is a dense purple-red in the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of mulberries, blackcurrants, blackberries and plums in the glass. There are also hints of cocoa bean, black tea and cinnamon.
On the palate, the Nadir Syrah Sicilia from Tenuta Rapitalà is pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced. This fleshy and dense red wine is full-bodied and multi-faceted on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily is delightfully long. Once again, there are hints of blueberry and blackcurrant.
Vinification of the Nadir Syrah Sicilia from Tenuta Rapitalà
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Syrah. Only first-class grapes were harvested for this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Tenuta Rapitalà. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barriques.
