This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Sangiovese grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by 10 months of ageing in large wooden barrels made from Slavonian oak.
