More information about Fantini Sangiovese - Farnese Vini
In the glass, the Fantini Sangiovese from Farnese Vini has a brilliant, shimmering ruby red color. This Farnese Vini red wine reveals all kinds of blueberries, mulberries, plums, blackcurrants and morello cherries on the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, cigar boxes, toasted barrique and oak are added to the mix thanks to the ageing in stainless steel.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 5.5 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Fantini Sangiovese flatters the palate with a velvety sensation without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region, more precisely from Terre di Chieti IGT, is convincing with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of the Farnese Vini Fantini Sangiovese
The elegant Fantini Sangiovese from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Sangiovese grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
