Vinification of Ruggeri Argeo Prosecco
The elegant Argeo Prosecco from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Glera grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone, clay and marl soils in Veneto. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once it has finished, the Argeo Prosecco can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
