This single-varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of blackcurrants, blueberries, mulberries and blackberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of black tea, oriental spices and cinnamon.

Vinification of the Jürgen Ellwanger Hebsacker Lemberger

The basis for the balanced Hebsacker Lemberger from Württemberg are grapes from the Lemberger grape variety. The grapes for this red wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand at the time of optimal ripeness. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Hebsacker Lemberger can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
