The Realda Cabernet Sauvignon del Veneto IGT from Azienda Agricola Anselmi is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Shining ruby red in the glass, it opens up an intense bouquet on the nose with aromas of blackcurrant, walnut kernel, black pepper, pipe tobacco and varietal vegetative notes of freshly mown grass and paprika. This unique Cabernet Sauvignon from Roberto Anselmi delights the palate with velvety tannins, very soft and fresh, elegant and harmonious. A beautifully long, pleasing finish.

Vinification of the Realda Cabernet Sauvignon del Veneto IGT by Anselmi

This red wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in a classic white wine growing region. After manual harvesting, the wine is fermented and matured for 18 months in French barriques made from Troncais. It then rests for a further 6 months in the bottle. Only around 7000 bottles are bottled. The wine is limited.

For this unique wine, Anselmi has planted only a very small vineyard exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon, at the foot of Mount Zoppega in the Soave region, one of the most beautiful areas in Veneto. The name of the wine comes from a church estate of the same name. It is the only red wine that Roberto Anselmi produces, with his other wines he remains true to tradition and the grape varieties of the region and produces white wines. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a little gem that has been created among the indigenous white grape varieties of the region.
