More information about Barolo Bussia DOCG - Gian Piero Marrone
The powerful Barolo Bussia from the pen of Gian Piero Marrone comes into the glass with a dense ruby red color. If you hold the glass at a slight angle, you can see a transition in the color towards garnet red at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. If you give it a little air by swirling, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in church windows at the edge of the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine shows wonderfully expressive notes of blueberries, mulberries, blackberries and blackcurrants in the glass. There are also hints of vanilla, firewood and gingerbread spice.
The Barolo Bussia from Gian Piero Marrone is perfect for all wine drinkers who like it dry. However, it is never austere or brittle, but round and smooth. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky texture. Thanks to its vital fruit acidity, Barolo Bussia is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this mature red wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region impresses with its exceptional length. Once again, there are hints of blackcurrant and mulberry.
Vinification of Barolo Bussia by Gian Piero Marrone
This powerful red wine from Italy is vegan and made from the Nebbiolo grape variety. Barolo Bussia is an Old World wine through and through, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barrels. Once the wine is finished, the Barolo Bussia is carefully harmonized.
