Vinification of the Barolo Cru Ravera DOCG from Cascina Lo Zoccolaio
The Cru Ravera vineyard gives its name to this magnificent Barolo from Lo Zoccolaio; the Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come exclusively from this single vineyard. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented whole on the skins for 10 to 15 days, after which the wine is aged for 36 months in large oak barrels.
Food pairing for the Barolo Cru Ravera from Cascina Lo Zoccolaio
A stately red wine from Piedmont that can perfectly accompany dishes with red meat, braised meat, game, matured cow and sheep cheese. But it is also an absolute delight on its own, as a meditation wine, with friends or by the fireplace.
