More information about Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria DOP - Farnese Vini
The first nose of the Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria reveals notes of blueberries, mulberries and blackcurrants. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing and even more fruity, balsamic nuances.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 8.2 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. Thanks to its present fruit acidity, the Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Apulia, more precisely from the Primitivo di Manduria DOC, ultimately impresses with a remarkable aftertaste.
Vinification of the Farnese Vini Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria
The powerful Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Primitivo grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in concrete and small wood vats at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria is aged for a further 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
